Job Description:

  • Client is looking for Business Intelligence and Data Analyst, who will use data to inform real estate and workplace service business decisions across the globe.
  • Will work closely with Corporate Engineering teams to shape and develop REWS data architecture, determining how to best structure and visualize key data.
  • Should be a self-starter with good knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and approaches.
  • Will take a leadership role in providing visibility on key metrics, performance, and opportunities for scale and growth in building outstanding workplaces around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Engineering partners to help shape and drive the development of BI infrastructure, tools, and processes including development prioritization processes, data warehousing structures, and reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Serve as a product manager for team data products/tools. Ensure cohesion around our suite of dashboards and data tables and inform overall team strategy.
  • Customize communication and output to a wide variety of audiences; determine the best audience for data-driven insights. Provide interpretation, analysis, or insight along with clearly-stated information, representing both the team and leadership.
  • Create dashboards, visualizations, and analyses that surface insights and drive key business decisions.

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience including database experience with SQL, query optimization and operating with data schemas.
  • 4-6 years of experience with analytics and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire, etc.
  • Data warehousing experience (e.g. storage methods/formats, database design), e.g. Google Big Query, and experience with ETL (Extraction, Transform, Load) optimization.
  • Proven familiarity with data mining, analysis, and visualization; experience manipulating and curating large, complex data from a variety of systems.
  • Programming experience (i.e. Python, R, JavaScript, etc) & familiarity with version control.

  • BA/BS degree with quantitative focus or equivalent practical experience.
